Featuring every poet and short story writer from The Poetic Bond Volumes I – X, Human to Human, Poems from the Lockdown, Nature 20/20, Who are We?, Nine Frames, Our World, Your Place, and Life Dances.

The poets/writers are listed alphabetically, and then in order of publication. Each biography is taken from the most recent publication of each poet; therefore, some biographies are older than others.

All writers will be contacted for up-to-date biography. Revised biographies will be uploaded if, and when, they become available.

Betty Bleen	Poem	By a Fountain	The Poetic Bond X	2020	Betty Bleen is a poet living in Westerville, Ohio, USA, with her husband Doug and a cat named Mittens. Her poetry is published bi-weekly in a local newspaper and has been included in various anthologies, including several Poetic Bonds, in which she has been honored with the Poets' Choice Award twice. She is a frequent reader at local summer venues. Betty’s collection of poetry, Bad Red Shoes, is available on Amazon. She has 4 grown children and 8 grandchildren. At 70 years of age she still works full time at a dermatology office. Besides writing poetry Betty enjoys painting faces of pets on rocks to memorialize beloved pets that have passed.

However, this is only his second story to have been placed in a competition, the last was when he was aged seven and was also about his next door neighbour.

Mary Ellen Chatwin	Story	We've Come So Far	Who Are We?	2020	Mary Ellen Chatwin was born in San Francisco, but moved, with her father’s work, to Trieste, Italy, which gave her, as a young child her first taste of living in a new culture; this set a pattern for her life. She grew up in south Alabama during some of the key years of racial de-segregation, graduated from the University of Alabama, then married and moved to Switzerland with her British husband and their children. In Switzerland, she worked at Berlitz Travel Guides, was an activist in women’s issues, then returned to education, studying international development and ethnology, specializing in “foodways”. Her subsequent dissertation in food anthropology took her to the newly independent country of Georgia, in the Caucasus. Mary still works in the capital, Tbilisi, lives in a nearby village, writing fiction and non-fiction, editing, and supporting social programmes.
